I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but it's always such a shock when I put a book up for ARC, and start getting reviews back.
This career has it's highlights, and reading reviews on a new book I've put out is one of them…especially on the last book in a series or trilogy.
Writing the final book is unbelievably daunting, and to know that I've done my job as an author is hugely rewarding. I know I can't please everyone, or that some readers might not like the way the book ended, but when I see reviews like this…?
It's all worth it. All the stress, the burn out, the terror, lol.
Anyway, TLDR;
